Pairs

What your coin trades against — the asset classes Rtp.Fun lists as quote tokens, who tokenised each one, and what to know before pairing against a real-world asset.

Every launch trades against a quote token. On a bonding curve that is the asset buyers pay in and the asset the raise is measured in, so the choice decides what your coin’s price actually means: priced against SOL it moves with SOL, priced against a tokenised share it moves with that share.

The picker shows the pairs offered for your selected platform and curve. Check the pair’s availability and the launch review before proceeding.

A quote carries two separate facts, and neither one follows from the other.

What the underlying asset is. A company share, a stock index, gold, a currency, a crypto asset. This is what you are pricing against, and it is what the picker groups by.

Who tokenised it. A tokenised share does not exist on Solana by itself — an issuer holds the underlying and mints a token against it under a programme with its own terms, redemption rules and eligibility limits. One programme spans several asset classes, and one asset class arrives from several programmes. Boards filter by this, because the issuer decides the liquidity and the counterparty risk of everything quoted in that family.

Dollar- and euro-denominated tokens. The steadiest thing to price against: a coin quoted in a stablecoin moves on its own merits rather than on the quote’s. These are crypto-native instruments with their own issuer risk, which their issuers document.

Tokens tracking shares in listed companies. The token is not the share: it is an issuer’s obligation referencing the share, redeemable or not according to that issuer’s programme.

Tokens tracking a basket rather than a single company — an index tracker rather than one name. Same structure as Equities; broader underlying.

Tokens referencing companies with no public listing. There is no exchange price behind these, so whatever price exists comes from the issuer’s own valuation method and from trading on chain.

Tokens tracking gold or silver.

Crypto assets bridged onto Solana and used as quotes. No real-world issuer sits behind them; their risk is the bridge’s and the asset’s own.

Tokens engineered to move at a multiple of another asset. They rebalance, so over time their return diverges from the multiple of the underlying’s return. That is a property of how they work, not a defect.

Tokens tied to collectible assets.

Tokens that do not fit the classes above.

Before you pair against a real-world asset

Section titled “Before you pair against a real-world asset”

This applies to Equities, Index, Private and Commodities — the classes where a real-world asset sits behind the token. It does not apply to Cash, Crypto, Leveraged, Collectibles or Other.

  • Rtp.Fun does not issue, redeem, hold or price these tokens. We are a self-custodial interface. The token is the issuer’s, the underlying is the issuer’s, and any claim on it is between you and them under their terms.
  • The issuer’s programme decides who may hold or redeem. Those rules are the issuer’s, not ours, and they can change without reference to us.
  • The token can trade away from the asset it tracks. On-chain price is set by the pool, not by the underlying market, and the two are not the same thing — least of all when the underlying market is closed.
  • Your launched coin inherits all of it. Quote against a tokenised share and every holder of your coin is exposed to that share, that issuer and that token’s liquidity, whether or not they read this page.

Issuers publish their own documentation covering redemption, eligibility and the legal structure behind each programme. Those documents govern the token; this page does not. Read the issuer’s before you pair against one.

The picker combines curated quote tokens with pairs from platform configurations and live custom curves. The asset class describes the token; the pair’s availability determines whether you can select it for your launch.

This page explains the product. It is not the Terms of Service, which govern your use of Rtp.Fun as a whole.
